The Jayabaya Train is the sole train option from Malang to Surabaya, departing at 12:30 noon and taking around 2 hours to reach. Via Ferry

If you find limited flight options or prefer an alternative adventure, consider taking the train from Malang to Banyuwangi. The journey may take some time, and you'll arrive in Banyuwangi at night, around 10-12 at night. Take a comfortable rest at a hotel or hostel in Banyuwangi and gear up for the next leg of your journey. On the following day, embark on a ferry from Banyuwangi Harbour to Gillimanuk Harbour in Bali.
